The wait has to be over sometime, right? Now is the perfect time to take action and put yourself and your health first. Meaningful changes in your life, relationships, finances, or the body occur when individuals stop waiting and take decisive action.
Making a goal is only the first step. We suggest taking it further. It's time to ask "WHY?" Why does this goal matter? Want to lose weight? Why? If you lose weight will you improve your health indicators at your next doctor visit? Will you feel more confident in your clothes? Will you feel stronger and fitter to play with your kids or compete in a race? The why matters! Take the time to reflect and write it down! Your goal matters -- and so does the why!
Once the "why" is clear and written down in detail, creating an actionable "how-list" becomes a fun and inspiring next step. Maybe it's trying Pound, Zumba, High Intensity Training, or Yoga at LC Fitness. Maybe it's grabbing a buddy and going on nightly walks. Maybe it's scouring Pintrest for new, healthy recipe ideas. Maybe it's talking to LC about the benefits of personal training. We are here to help... and yes, we are working on our own personal goals and thinking about our why, too. We are all in this together!
